In the Beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. God created life from nothing in 6 days and rested the 7th day. Creation is one of the ways that we see God’s almighty hand. In Revelation 4:8–11, we read about God as creator and sustainer of all things. In Isaiah 43:6–7, we learn that all who God calls were created by God, for His glory. In Psalm 139:13, we read about how God knit me together in my mother’s womb.
While God created a process for reproduction, He is still involved in the process as He creates each baby unique and with a special purpose in life. Even the people who are created with physical deformities, were created unique and with a special purpose to glorify God. If you ever wonder if that is possible, check out Nick Vujicic. According to 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, each believer was bought with a price, the blood of Christ. In 1 Corinthians 10:31, we are instructed to do everything – including eating and drinking – to the glory of God.
I don’t know where you have been in life. I don’t know your individual struggles. I don’t know the pain that you have endured. But I do know that you were created unique and created to glorify God.
